Whereabouts of the 2009 Unconvention
Utrecht
Utrecht is a quaint city in the centre of the Netherlands, famous for its canals and bridges - and of course the tallest church tower of the Netherlands, the Dom tower - as depicted in the emblem of the Utrecht Morris Team (UMT).
The eastern side of Utrecht is lined with fortresses to keep the rest of Europe out, called the Dutch Water Line (Hollandse Waterlinie). Utrecht MM will be entrusting their guests with the responsibilty of protecting them against the foreigners by staying in one of the fortresses in this famous line!
Accommodation
The UMT has secured indoor accommodation at "Fort aan de Klop", one of the fortresses of the Dutch Water Line built around 1850.
The guests will be sleeping in two, three of four person bedrooms. There are beds, blankets and sheets available at the fortress so the guests do not need to bring any sleeping gear.
A detailed map and directions to Fort aan de Klop can be found on Google Maps.
Morris sides attending
A total of 3 dutch morris sides (i.e. all of the Netherlands!) will be available as guinea pigs for the gathered fools and beasts:

- Maids of the Mill
- Ladies' side from Utrecht and founded in 1984, The Maids are the sister side to Utrecht MM.
- Utrechts Morris Team
- Organising this year's Unconvention, Utrecht MM also celebrate their 30th Anniversary.
